Bruce Jenner: Gender Transitioning

By now it is no longer news that Bruce Jenner, Kris Jenner’s ex-husband and subsequently Kim K’s step father at 65 years old just revealed he has being intending and is in the process of transitioning to a woman. This caused huge uproar in the world last week and as expected people has had and are still having heated discussions and opinions. As always while some people are against, others are for and there are still a few indifferent ones. Of course, I am never indifferent.  

First, I wonder what religion Bruce Jenner practises, because what happened to us being created in the image and likeness of God (john 4:24) and also being fearfully and wonderfully made (psalm 139:14)? Is he and all the other transgender fellows in anyway insinuating that God made a mistake or it was a malfunction on God’s part to create a “woman” in a man’s body.  I feel like people take God’s mercies and grace for granted. Shall we continue in sin that grace may abide? God forbid (Romans 6:1). Also may I add that America and the world at large (I dare say), have taken this “human right” ideology to the extreme. Where do you draw the line? Who created you and the right? Did you magically appear on the earth? You may not have formed in your mother’s womb? You could have die in her womb? You could have died on any day of whatever years you have lived so far. Death is just a breath away, who is sustaining it?

Second, I think it is plainly selfish. He just escaped the pain of child bearing for a woman by waiting to first give birth to all his children. The “courage” he claims to have now, he should have summoned it when he was younger without all the kids and grandkids. Maybe just maybe, the doctors would have surgically grown a womb inside him or her and he would have to go through the painful, body damaging and hormone crazies of child birth. In fact, I say he used all those women (ex-wives) as surrogates for bearing his children. (sorry my opinion).

Third, there is so much confusion and chaos for the grandkids. What will they call Bruce Jenner? Granddad or Grand mum? How will his sons, kylie and kendell explain that Bruce Jenner is their granddad in a woman’s body to their kids? The world is confusing enough, why confuse the kids some more? You see, this is why people get depressed and commit suicide, generally questioning their existence and get psychologically disoriented. The world is becoming crazier by the day; young boys are waking up, walking into schools and shooting down children because of these kinds of confusion. 

Fourth, believe it or not, this is not a racist statement but a factual one. This Bruce Jenner transitioning situation is a "white people" thing, on a larger note an American thing. Trust me, if I mistakenly mention anything about thinking I am a man on the inside, my parents will bind, cast out and add 40 days and 40 night fasting to deliver me from all the demonic and satanic influences whispering such ideas into my ears! Plus in Africa, there are so many actual/serious crisis and challenges like power, water, poverty, corruption, maternity mortality, hunger, ebola and at the moment xenophobia and Boko Haram. Who has the time to think “I am a woman” especially at 65 years old. I personally think the Americans do not have much pressure or challenges (well apart from ISIS and maybe political, a little racism) but hunger and the others nope. 

Finally, I salute Kris Jenner. She took all the bashing especially during the divorce. I guess I also feel cheated like Wendy Williams because everyone kept bashing Kris and the Kardashian clan  and no one looked in Bruce Jenner’s direction as an attention seeking *****. She (Kris) never gave it (Bruce’s transitioning) away as the reason for their divorce. She is a very strong woman and she just won a fan.
