Inappropriate Clothing For Children




Hi lovely people. A month or two ago, I was at Dominos Pizza, Agungi with a friend and I saw this really cute, chubby baby girl of about 5-6years old. She ran around as her dad waited in line for their pizza order. She was a delight to everyone but I noticed her clothing. So let me paint you the picture. She wore what we adults call bikini/bra or crop top and a bum short. I mean bum but it barely covered her butt, (remember I said she was chubby), now you have visuals. 

I know some of you are thinking, “awww, so cute”, “she’s just a baby for Christ sake. She doesn’t know anything”. My point exactly. Why should any mum or dad put that on their baby and let her leave the house in it, in this paedophile world we live in? Call me Paranoid but it is true. Some crazy man is probably just somewhere waiting to unleash his sexual madness on an innocent child. In recent times, expecially last year, there have been uncountable reports of men molesting and having carnal knowledge of little children all over Nigeria and the world at large, destroying countless lives. Now it is true that even without the inappropriate clothing, a paedophile would still desire to molest a child but why help him with the visuals and temptation to do so? I for one think it is unfair to expose a baby who has no knowledge of this crime and cannot defend herself making her vulnerable to this harm. An adult may claim she can defend herself (story for another day) but how about a child? 

I really wish we could tell our kids that the world is an extremely Safe place, they have nothing to worry about, we will always be there to protect them but you and I know it is a lie. The world is full of insane, sick people. We need to teach them to always protect themselves and avoid being a bait for harm to themselves and others.

Please share your opinions. Do you agree that there is such a thing as inappropriate clothing for children? Or do you think am just being paranoid?

    I don't think you are paranoid Miss Eby. I think that at as little as 5, a girl child in our world today should start being tutored by her mum or anyone acting as her mum. This world is not as safe as it must have been...

    I support you. Even the Holy book (bible) says "train up your child in the way he should go and when he is old he would not depart from it".

Dates And Bills

This conversation has been ongoing for days somewhere on instagram and am pretty fascinated. Males and females have been on each other's throat.  The men first started calling Nigerian women out for always wanting and taking from men and never contributing to dates. They have on many occasions called Nigerian women desperate, gluttons and covetous as they only want men to spend on them/pay all their bills, emphasis was laid on dates. They say women never pay on dates. The women also spoke up and defended themselves as some blatantly see nothing wrong with the guy to pay on dates and taking care of their lady's bills while other gave instances where they had taken care of everything and still the men cheated or was violent towards them and still left. Hello MEB readers, a very happy Sunday to everyone. Hope you are having a restful evening. Now this genotype issue has been in my thoughts. (I know you think it's about me.
